It?s nice to see someone local doing so well, as is Kirk Shepherd, the 21 year-old from Ramsgate, who has just reached the Darts World Championship final.
I must admit that I don?t know him, although he is a regular at one of my local pubs, The Australian Arms, but a lot of people have been talking about him and they?re very proud of what he?s done. Nice work Kirk.

I?m a fan of darts since nearly two years now.
As I saw the match on TV yesterday I just thought: ?Wow, this guy is brilliant!? Now I want to start play darts, too.
I want to say: ?Thank you Kirk Shepherd!? You showed the world that there are other players that ?The Power? or ?Barney?.
I hear we have quite a thriving croquet scene too.
Sadly Kirk didn?t win (link here) but he is £50,000 richer now. Not bad.
I was following it this week its a shame like you said he didn?t win but I think he will be there again.
