The New Cat

In March, Jessica, the family cat died. It was a very sad time as she definitely was one of the family and we?d had her (she?d had us) for around 14 years. Eventually old age took its toll and she had to be put down. That?s all I?m going to say but those of you who know me will know that I absolutely adored her and spoilt her rotten.

I knew I wanted to get another cat, but wanted to wait to see if it was really another cat I wanted or just the fact that I was missing Jess and wanted an immediate substitute. I waited until September, a full six months later, and the urge was still there and so it comes that there is a new member of the family, Ellie, who we got from TAG Pet Recuse Centre aged 14 months.

She is a completely different cat, first off physically, and then secondly with her character, as inquisitive a cat as you will ever meet?. oh and she?s a bit mad too.
