Woo Hoo… After many many tip runs I can say the house has no more crap in it, the manky carpets have gone, all the old rotten furniture is gone, and it is looking very much like how I would assume a house to look when moving in. OK it’s eaten into a lot of my time but I can now get things done.
I got stripping today (the wallpaper) and that makes it look so much better. Tomorrow I’ll be stripping off more (wallpaper) and maybe getting a little bit of plastering done as the walls are in not as bad a shape as I thought and I just need to skim over a few bits.
My progress did get backtracked a little bit when on Monday afternoon I came down with something which gave me a temperature, chills, and sweats, and although I felt a bit better the next couple of days I was still getting cold sweats but I’m happy to say I’m feeling fine now. I thought I’d add this in here so I’ve got a little excuse.

It’s actually pretty hard to think of things for friends to do as I always think I might as well just do it myself.
A lot of things depend on timing and money etc and so we’ll have to see but I think I will be asking for your help when I’m finally moving stuff in and need help with moving sofa’s etc!
