iPod Touch

Ian went on holiday to Florida a few weeks back and yesterday he got to show us one of the toys he bought?. an iPod Touch. I?ve never been one to be in awe of iPods etc but this this was really cool and I would really love one. He got his 16GB version for around £200 in the US, but over here it?ll cost me £269, which is a fair wack but still not out of my price range (I could get an 8GB version for £199, but it?s probably worht spending the extra.)

I would go for the 16 GB one as well. You get twice the memory for less than 100 more. Definitely worth it.

Isn?t the Touch really for people who don?t have computers and big digital music collections?

The wi-fi is there to let these luddites finally get portable music.

Nice touch screen agreed but it won?t be long before it?s on a proper iPod with a proper sized hard-drive. 16GB is not that big, you really want at least 400 albums otherwise you?re forever buggering about updating the tune selection. A buggerance!

Buying one for you outright or just purchasing it here in the States and shipping it?

Not that I can help you out either way?I don?t have an extra 200 (however you make the pounds symbol) lying around. :(

Okay, I?ve calmed down now and won?t be buying one asap. I think it all went to my head in an ipod frenzy?. and relax.
