Weekend in London

I had a very nice weekend in London, going out in London Bridge on Friday night, and then spending Saturday in Lewisham, getting back home on Sunday afternoon.

All I can really say is that I drank all the drink and I ate all the food.

The Market Porter was the venue of choice for Friday (apparently for all of London) and I arrived around at around 7pm to find it rammed, but it didn?t take long to get served and with a range of ten different ales I got to try a fair few. I also had my first ever Wagamama experience and have to admit that the food was very good, opting for the Chilli Chicken Ramen (see photo), which even I couldn?t finish as it was huge, and I was partly full of beer.

On Saturday afternoon I went up to see my Dad in Edmonton and again went out for a huge lunch at a Turkish restaurant and I returned to Lewisham around 3:30pm and met up with Tim, Steve, and Tom for a bit of a session. The session included beer, pool, more beer, bowling, beer, shots, Flaming Lamborghini?s, wine? and then sleep.

All in all a good weekend with a bit of everything? and alcohol and food.

I think I?ve got a free weekend this weekend but then next weekend I?m off to Bournemouth for Phil?s stag-do? but of course  I won?t be able to tell you anything about that?.

Not an original comment, but the food DOES look yummy. As much as I love South America, I am getting sick of chicken and rice? I am dying for a bowl of Korean or Vietnamese soup.
