I fancied something a little different for my lunch today and so I popped down to Eddie Gilberts in Ramsgate town centre for some mussels (£3.50 a Kilo) and grabbed the rest of the ingredients from Paynes greengrocers and some market stalls in order to make a lovely Moules Mariniere.

You can find a simple recipe here, and it’s the one I followed today. As you can see I ate this in the garden along with some nice crusty bread and a glass of wine. Lovely.
