Christmas Dinner

Filed in Food & Drink 4 comments

I cooked dinner and it all went very well for me, my mum, and my sister, although I did cook a LOT, probably enough for at least six people. That means that I’ve got plenty of leftovers but my sister is constantly coming back to the table and nibbling, which is what she does.

I am suitably stuffed though, and we’re currently watching the Top of the Pops Christmas Special on BBC1. Time to relax after slaving away.

Lots of food

Lots of food

My plate

My plate, and yes that is mint sauce with beef!

So, Englishmen can cook… wow, French had brainwashed me into think you guys couldn’t make anything edible, but these dishes look good!

Merry Christmas :-)

Zhu – Not all of us can cook but growing up with just my Mum and my sister helped a lot. I’ve fallen into the French trap of having ‘rosbif’ though!

Aravis – There was plenty to spare but I don’t think it would last the trip to you!

That looks yum! Down here in the Antipodes, all you get is cold meat and salad. And if you’re outside, the flies chase the tucker down your throat!

A belated Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year!
