I was out again last night with work friends?hiccup? but all seems fine this morning. Whilst I was walking back from the train station last night at around 11:45pm I was amazed at how bright the moon was and so when I got back home I took a few photos of it.
The thing I like about this photo is that where it?s not completely a fullmoon you can see some craters on the right hand side. Very cool.
Your title made me think of this.
Not sure if you seen it, as it was part of an ad campaign for a sammich place out here a few years ago.
It is good. Love that detail. Couldn?t have been too bad an outing if you were still this steady, though, could it?
By the time I?d got home I?d sobered up a bit, although I have to admit that I had to get the tripod out for this shot as I wouldn?t have been able to take it without it.
Heh, I suspected something like that. Nonetheless, nice shot, so no probs eh?
Michael- Yeah I remember the rathergood stuff from around 2004. Some funny and some just plain odd.
This turned out beautifully, Adem. I agree, those craters add something special to the image.
I just blogged a big scan of a map of the moon, so you can identify the lumps and bumps (in the top-right bit, anyway). Just hope it doesn?t awaken any latent werewolfian tendencies?
