It?s my birthday today and I?m 27, can you believe it? I sometimes actually have to check how old I am because it?s something I can lose count of and something I don?t really have to think that much about.
In good news I?ve had the day off work, but I?ve done virtually nothing and it?s 1pm already so half the day has gone. I went and celebrated my birthday on Saturday with friends, and we travelled over to Calais for the day. It was a good day out but left me very tired so this extra day is very welcome. I didn?t actually drink a huge amount on Saturday which is a change and I was thinking about going out for some Birthday drinks tonight as it?s my actual Birthday but to be honest I can?t be bothered and will have lots of work to do tomorrow as will others which will put them off a Monday session.
I have kick-started my cider-brewing today which should be ready for the festive period. I brewed some ale a while back (actually a year ago) and so I thought cider would be a good alternative. It should take about three and a half weeks to be completely ready, settled and drinkable, and so we should fill up that time between Christmas and New Year. The cider should kick in at about 7% and so should be fun.
Oh? I?m also defrosting the freezer too? rock ?n? roll eh? Which means that I?ll be having an oven pizza for my lunch. Life doesn?t get any more exciting than this!
