G20 Police Brutality
Last week there were G20 protests were held in London and one man, Ian Tomlinson, died during the protests from an apparently unrelated heart attack. The police said that protesters hurled bottles as they tried to help the man, but over the last couple of days the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) started an investigation after it emerged that Tomlinson had ?contact? with police officers before collapsing.
Yesterday this video was released from a member of the public who filmed the incident and it is shocking. Tomlinson, who was not part of the protest, is hit on the legs with a baton and then pushed hard from behind by a malicious police officer and falls onto the ground. Minutes later he died of a heart attack. How can these not be related?
