Buying a house
So, anyone want to hear something quite interesting? Well, it may not be interesting to you, but it?s pretty live-changing to me. I am buying a house.
I?ve found a house I like, I?ve had an offer accepted, I?ve sorted out my mortgage & insurance, and now what?s left is for a survey to go ahead, to have my solicitors do all their bits and bobs, exchange contracts, and then? I?m done (virtually).
It?s sounds pretty simple, and up to this point it has been, but obviously nothing is 100% guaranteed until I?ve got the keys in my hand and I?m stepping through the front door.
I?ve had my fingers crossed over the past week, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I?ll let you know if anything changes and hopefully it will be me saying that I do have a house.
Glad to hear it?s all going well young man. I assume the first thing you?ll do is have a massive party? Hookers and pizza?
Why would I want to have a party with the No.2s of Rugby? I?m up for the pizza though.
Congratulations, Adem! That?s fantastic news. Hope the rest of the process goes smoothly.
That?s great Adem! Of course that?s interesting news. I hope that everything works out. You?ll have to tell us all about it once it?s official.
Good on ya. I cant understand why more house sales aren?t going through if I had money in the bank I would be buying houses wholesale the returns from cash are rubbish. still sorry I digress well done you and I hope it all goes through Don
?.and you didn?t ask me to sort your mortgage and your insurance?
*weeps*
I?m still keeping fingers crossed, but all seems to be flowing along. If everything goes to plan then obviously loads of photos etc.
LB - I did think of you when I was sorting it out!
Blimey, good going! Hope you nailed the price down!
We looked at getting a house a while back and, despite having quite a decent deposit, couldn?t get a mortgage unless we had an obscene deposit. 80% mortgage was the max going and 20% of a flat in London is a lot of bread.
Hey ho. Hope it goes through smoothly for you.
